AOI Watch Connect consists of an iPhone app and a Wear OS watch app that talk to each other directly over Bluetooth. This policy explains what data the apps handle and what happens to it.
Summary
- We do not collect, store or sell any of your data on servers. The apps have no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
- All data moves only between your own iPhone and your own watch over Bluetooth.
- Health data is written to Apple Health only after you give permission, and only on your iPhone.
Data the apps handle
Notifications. With your permission, the watch reads iPhone notifications through Apple's Notification Center Service so they can be shown on your watch. They stay on the watch and are never sent anywhere else.
Calls and media. The watch can show incoming calls and the music that is playing, and can send control commands (answer, decline, play, pause, skip) back to the iPhone over Bluetooth.
Health and fitness data. With your permission, the watch reads steps, distance, floors climbed and heart rate using Google Health Services. These readings are kept on the watch for up to 30 days until your iPhone confirms it has received them. The iPhone app then saves them to Apple Health. AOI Watch Connect only writes to Apple Health and does not read your existing Apple Health data. Health data is not used for advertising or marketing and is not shared with any third party.
Device status. Battery level and connection state are exchanged between the two devices so they can be shown in the apps.
Data stored on your devices
The apps store settings, connection status and pending health readings locally on your devices. This data is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Third parties
The apps contain no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. If the app offers paid features, payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Children
The apps are not aimed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
